When our Innovation Partner at Acasia Skincare and our chemist Dominik B. created the C The Difference Hyaluronic Triple Serum their focus was on creating a serum for every age group, starting with anyone experiencing their first sign of ageing – and yes – this starts as early as 20+ – and focusing on a serum that any skin type can use.
Texture And More
Our C The Difference serum is non-sticky, has a neutral scent and is easy to glide all over your face and neck area. This light-weight and quick absorbing serum is (almost) oil free except for the oil-soluble Vitamin E. It is indeed a good serum for oily skin, combination skin and definitely dehydrated skin!
When To Use Our Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Add few drops of serum to freshly clean skin morning and night. If you need an extra boost of moisture, combine your go-to daily or night time moisturizer (depending on the time of your skincare routine) on top of the serum. We recommend our Collagen Boost Cream!

The Science – How Hyaluronic Acid Works
With our triple combination of Hyaluronic Acid, this little wonder serum in a brown-glass bottle covers all the skin layers you can think of, providing intense hydration. Let me explain how our Hyaluronic Acids in this serum works:
High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid: Provides intense hydration on the top skin layers – this helps the elasticity of the skin.
Low Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid: Penetrates deeper skin layers – this helps to firm the skin.
Bonus: Cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid: To bind even more moisture within the skin, we also added cross-linked HAs. They are even “bigger” and connected with each other, to additionally protect the moisture level of the skin, making it the perfect base for your skincare routine. Additionally, this HA is also known as “gravity antagonist”. Crosslinked HA blends with the skin and results in a V-shape.
This is why we call it the TRIPLE HYALURONIC SERUM – it goes ON the skin, UNDER the skin and blends WITH the skin. So let’s do a quick review:
- Skin is strengthened
- Skin is more elastic (only possible with 3 HAs)
- Packs and protects the skin like a corset
Vitamin C in Skincare
But we didn’t stop there. To enhance the collagen production and strengthen the collagen matrix we added that extra dash of Vitamin C. Best for tired and dull skin -> giving you that extra glow.
Another quick info on the Vitamin C we are using: Most vitamin C serums have a short shelf life, losing their potency and freshness over time. Using powerful/ special Vitamin C derivates, C The Difference aims to preserve its Vitamin C content over a longer period.

One of our most FAQ is “Will Hyaluronic Acid clog my pores?”
Hyaluronic Acids won‘t clog pores – maybe some ingredients in certain products do – but as for our C The Difference serum it is safe to say – this product is non-comedogenic. Yes, our serum is also safe to use for acne-prone skin.
